This year’s Indiana State Fair is getting a new twist on a classic drink.

Hi & Mighty, a company based right at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, is launching a new canned cocktail called Peach Shake Up.

This drink is a fresh take on the popular Lemon Shake Up, which is a favorite at Indiana county fairs.

The Peach Shake Up uses the same simple and tasty recipe as the Lemon Shake Up, made with real peach juice, sugar, and floral gin from Hi & Mighty.

The drink is naturally gluten-free and has a little bit of carbonation to give it that special fair-time feel. Peach Shake Up will be part of the official Taste of the Fair contest and will be sold alongside Lemon Shake Up at the fair.

You can find it at five bars around the fairgrounds and at local stores like Kroger, Total Wine, and Crown Liquors. Hi & Mighty was founded by Dan and Jamie Fahrner, along with their friend and chef, Nick Traeger.

They started the company to celebrate the simple joys of life, especially those connected to Indiana fairs and festivals. “Our goal was to capture that magic in a delicious and fun drink,” Dan Fahrner explained.

Hi & Mighty has been making canned cocktails since 2021 and has other flavors like Big Heart floral gin and Big Fuss Savory gin.

They’re all about enjoying the big and small gifts in life, and their Peach Shake Up is a perfect way to do just that at the Indiana State Fair.
