Te’Andra Tough Foundation raises awareness for appendix cancer

Appendix cancer, a rare form of cancer, is on the rise in the United States with a 232% increase in incidence rates between 2000 and 2016.

The Te’Andra Tough Foundation, founded in honor of Te’Andra Valentine, is dedicated to raising awareness, providing education and resources, and funding research for appendix cancer.

Join the fight against this often-overlooked cancer and make a difference in the lives of those affected by it at “A Night of Entertainment” from 6 p.m. to midnight April 22 at P30 located at 3039 Post Road.

Doors open at 5 p.m. and dinner is served at 6 p.m. The event is $50 per couple and $30 per single person.
