2 men shot in Wal-Mart parking lot

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Two people were injured after a shooting in the parking lot of a southeast side Indianapolis Wal-Mart.

IMPD says two men were shot in the parking lot of Wal-Mart in the 3800 block of South Keystone Avenue.

One of the men ran to an ambulance parked at the nearby Dairy Queen. He was taken to Sidney and Lois Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition.

The second man was initially taken to the IMPD homicide office but was eventually taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

A significant language barrier between one of the men and police hampered the investigation, according to IMPD.

The men have not been identified.

Anyone with information about the shootings is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS (8477).
