25-year-old man in critical condition after south side shooting

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A 25-year-old man was in critical condition after a Tuesday shooting on the city’s south side, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

Officers went to the 5100 block of Thompson Village Place just before 2 a.m. Tuesday for a report of a person shot.

After arriving on scene, the shooting victim was located. He was later identified in a police report at 25-year-old Major Hillard. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Police have not released information on a potential suspect.
