27-year-old died in hit-and-run; IMPD investigating
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department are investigating a Thursday night fatal hit-and-run on the east side.
It happened near 38th Street and Franklin Road just after 10 p.m.
Darius Webb, 27, was identified Friday by the Marion County Coroner’s Office as the man who died trying to cross the intersection.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is looking for a dark-colored Buick LaCrosse with significant front-end and windshield damage. The vehicle may be red or maroon. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call CrimeStoppers of Central Indiana at 317-262-TIPS.
