A cooler day with a few stray early showers
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A cool start with a few spotty showers for the morning and early afternoon. Temperatures for Wednesday will run a bit cooler for some spots but not all. We’ll have a spread of temperatures from the lower 50s in northern Indiana to the lower 70s in southern Indiana. Indy will sit right in the middle with highs in the lower 60s. Clouds will stick around for much of the day with a few rays of sunshine poking through.
A partly to mostly cloudy start Thursday with winds picking up out of the south through the day with winds gusting from 35-40 mph. Temperatures through the afternoon will warm to the mid to upper 70s! A cold front will swing through the area late Thursday and overnight Friday bringing storms that could be on the stronger side. Damaging winds and heavy rain and are the main threat with the isolated strong storms early Friday. The rain will move out mid-morning with clouds gradually decreasing through the day. Highs will be cooler, topping out in the upper 50s and lower 60s. Winds will remain a bit breezy through the day.
This weekend will be a cool one with temperatures in the lower 60s with a mainly cloudy sky through the day. Even cooler by Sunday with a few scattered showers through the afternoon. Next week temperatures will warm through the 60s with partly to mostly sunny skies. Next chance for showers arrives Wednesday.
