Ashley Brown meets the ‘Daybreak’ team
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Ashley Brown, WISH-TV’s new Chief Meteorologist, joined Daybreak on Tuesday morning.
Ashley debuted on News 8 at 5 on Monday evening and returned to the WISH-TV studio on Tuesday morning to introduce herself to Scott Sander, Drew Blair and Randy Ollis.
“I grew up here in Indy and went to North Central High School and also went to Ball State University so I just kind of stuck here,” Ashley said.
Ashley had previously worked in Indy but also in California and Ohio but is returning home.
“That’s the best sign, right? When we welcome a teammate that knows Indiana already,” said Daybreak Anchor Drew Blair.
In her role as Chief Meteorologist, Ashley will lead central Indiana’s certified most accurate forecasting team, as designated by WeatheRate.
