Driver hits accelerator, crashes into Greenwood Cold Stone Creamery
GREENWOOD, Ind. (WISH) – Officials say a car drove into a Cold Stone Creamery Tuesday morning.
According to Johnson County dispatch, a car drove into the store located at 789 U.S.31 just before 11:30 a.m.
Police on scene say the woman in the car hit the accelerator instead of the brake.
The owner of the store was in a supply room when the crash happened. He told 24-Hour News 8 that he saw the crash happen on their security monitor.
Just before the crash there were customers in the story, but they left before the crash.
No injuries were reported.
Despite damage to the store door and windows the owner said they will remain open for business.
