Easter eggs tampered with at Ivy Tech event
LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI/WISH) – Lafayette Police want parents to be aware of Easter eggs after it was discovered that eggs had been tampered with at a community Easter egg hunt.
Police said they received information at least one moth ball was found in an Easter egg. The hunt took place on Saturday at the Ivy Tech campus.
Moth balls can be hazardous to children.
Police said to check the eggs for any moth balls.
