Event inspires kids to be as strong as they want to be
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health gave kids a chance to be pro wrestlers for a day on Monday.
The hospital hosted Timmy Takedown. The event gave kids with disabilities the opportunity to show of their skills in the ring. Kids got dressed up like a superheroes and pro wrestlers.
Riley said the event was set up to empower kids to be as strong as they want to be, without any limitations holding them back.
Dr. “Doom” Dietzen and WWE pro wrestling duo The Lucha Dragons hosted the event. Participants received tickets to the WWE event at Banker’s Life Fieldhouse on Monday night.
