‘Fox and Friends’ co-host accidentally hits drummer with ax
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A West Point drummer is recovering after the co-host for Fox and Friends accidentally hit him with an ax.
It was a Fox and Friends exclusive, Pete Hegseth was aiming an ax at a target, but instead it went flying over and hit drummer Jeff Prosperie.
The national morning talk show didn’t air the accident, but someone captured it on their cell phone.
Soon after, Prosperie was interviewed by Hegseth, the co-host who nailed him.
Prosperie said, “It’s a delight to be here to celebrate.”
He posted the cell phone video on his Facebook page and called it an “obvious negligence.”

His Facebook post said, “I am thankful to God that the double sided blade only hit broadside on the outer elbow with significant impact and a couple of cuts.”
Prosperie said he was “focusing on full physical and emotional recovery.”
