Indiana job market strong; wages lacking
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Indiana is seeing confidence in the job market, but that doesn’t include wages. Also, the shortage of air traffic controllers could mean more flight delays.
Jane King had these stories and more during Thursday’s report from the Nasdaq.
People in Indiana are feeling confident about the state’s economy, but not nearly as secure about their wages. The IPSOS Poll conducted on behalf of Well Fargo found that half of the state’s residents believe that Indiana officer a competitive and attractive climate for business.
In other business headlines, your next flight delay could very well be due to a critical shortage of air traffic controllers. The number of controllers, which are already at a 27 year low, continued to decline in the first three months of this year. But in the congressional testimony about the situation, officials don’t seem to think this is a security risk.
