Indiana sees winter-like morning

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Hoosiers waking up Thursday morning may be a little shocked at the temperature outside.

Temperatures dropped to the lower 30s overnight around the state. A freeze warning has been posted for Indianapolis and surrounding areas from 4 a.m. to 9 a.m. Thursday.

Normally, the last freeze in Indianapolis is April 16.

Make sure to protect your plants as they could be damaged due to the cold temperatures and frost.
