Indy murder suspect arrested in Alabama
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — An arrest has been made in an October murder case after the suspect was found in Alabama.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department says that 43-year-old Perise Fowler has been arrested for the murder of 39-year-old Byron Miller.
Miller died in a hospital after being shot in the early morning hours of Oct. 23. Officers found Miller shot in a home in the 500 block of N. Rural St.
Following an investigation, detectives found probable cause to connect Fowler to the murder and an arrest warrant was issued.
On Tuesday, IMPD worked with U.S. Marshals to arrest Fowler in Alabama. He’ll be extradited to Indiana where he will face multiple charges.
