Boone EDC to host virtual job fair
LEBANON, Ind. (Inside INdiana Business) – The Boone County Economic Development Corp. will Wednesday host a virtual job fair. The organization says participating employers are looking to fill more than 70 positions.
The fair will start at 10:30 a.m.
Employers participating in the fair include Allied Universal Security Services, Daimler Trucks North America, GTEch Construction Services, Kauffman Engineering, Schafer Powder Coatings, and Surplus City Liquidators.
The employers are looking to fill positions such as general assembly, laborers and operators, maintenance technicians, security officers, sewer and water foremen, and warehouse associates.
“The Boone EDC’s virtual job fairs are an easy, safe way for job seekers to connect with local employers,” said Amy Hammerle, Boone EDC workforce development manager. “We are hearing many success stories, and look forward to helping more people find their next career.”
The Boone EDC says the virtual job fair will take place via Zoom, and job seekers should register to participate.
County-wide, the organization says there are more than 500 full-time positions available.
