CROTHERSVILLE, Ind. (Inside INdiana Business) — An Illinois-based vehicle auction company that spun out of KAR Global (NYSE: KAR) in Carmel two years ago is adding a third branch in Indiana. IAA Inc. (NYSE: IAA) says it has broken ground on the branch in the Jackson County of Crothersville, which will create up to 15 jobs.

The company is not disclosing its financial investment in the facility. Construction is expected to be complete in the second or third quarter of 2022.

“These new branches will bring additional capacity to support our growth in the Midwest market,” Tim O’Day, president of U.S. Operations for IAA, said in a news release. “IAA is committed to enhancing the buying and selling experience, and these strategic property investments expand our capabilities and amenities in these key areas.”

IAA also has branches in Indianapolis and South Bend. In addition to the Crothersville branch, the company has broken ground on its second branch in Minnesota, serving the Twin Cities area.
