Krempp Construction lands military contract
JASPER, Ind. (Inside INdiana Business) – The U.S. Department of Defense has awarded a $35 million contract to Jasper-based Krempp Construction Inc. The 60-month contract calls for building maintenance and repairs at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division in southern Indiana.
The DoD says all work will be performed in Crane.
The work to be performed provides for building maintenance, repairs and construction services including concrete installation and removal, replacement of entire or portions of concrete docks, wing walls, steel doors and lead paint removal, among others.
Work is expected to be completed by August 2025. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command Mid-Atlantic in Norfolk, Virginia, is the contracting activity.
