Lt. Governor names interim executive director of OCRA

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Inside INdiana Business) – Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch has appointed Matt Crouch as interim executive director of the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs. Crouch most recently served as deputy director of OCRA, a role he has held since 2017.

“His vast knowledge of rural Indiana, and the communities we serve will provide the stability necessary to succeed during this important period,” the lieutenant governor said in a news release.

Crouch joined the agency in 2007 as a community liaison and has since served as project manager and senior project manager, organizing key initiatives such as the Stellar Communities Program, Indiana Site Certified, and Indiana Main Street Program, among others.

“It’s a privilege for me to have the opportunity to serve in the role as Interim Executive Director,” said Crouch. “I look forward to leading the OCRA team in supporting Indiana communities through impactful initiatives and programming.”

OCRA works with local, state and national partners to provide resources and technical assistance to aid communities in shaping and achieving their vision for economic and community development.

Crouch replaces Jodi Golden, who was named chief of agency operations for the Office of the Lieutenant Governor on April 10.

There is no relation between Matt Crouch and the lieutenant governor.
