BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (Inside INdiana Business) – MSP Aviation says it will begin manufacturing and distributing face shields from its Bloomington facility this week. The manufacturer says the shields are custom-designed by doctors and nurses to meet the specific requirements of healthcare workers.

MSP Aviation President and Chief Executive Officer John Goode said, “We are re-tooling our shop floor that usually produces parts for the airline and the aerospace industries to support and protect medical professionals as they help patients with COVID-19.”

MSP Aviation, which regularly designs and manufactures precision-machined products for the avionics, aerospace and military defense industries, says it is now taking orders for its face shields and plans to begin distribution this week.
