Purdue University Global offers new dual degree

INDIANAPOLIS (Inside INdiana Business) — Purdue University Global is announcing a new offering of a dual-degree option. A new Master of Science in Nursing and Master of Business Administration program offers nursing and business skills to allow students to qualify for executive-level leadership positions.

The program can be completed in under three years with a total of 88 credit hours.

“We are so pleased to offer the MSN-MBA degree program,” said Melissa Burdi, Purdue Global vice president and dean of the School of Nursing. “This dual degree prepares nurses to lead change in the practice, corporate or academic environment while growing their business and leadership acumen simultaneously. It also equips nurses with necessary knowledge and skills to drive decision-making, both operationally and fiscally.”

The program offers online courses, but a clinical is required for experience. Four start dates are available for the program, with the next being Aug. 26.
