TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (Inside INdiana Business) – The Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the Indiana Chamber of Commerce to help employers attract, retain, and develop talent in Indiana. The partners say the effort, in conjunction with Indianapolis-based Engage Mentoring, aims to build the largest and most effective cross-company mentoring program in the country.

The chambers say the initiative will help employers skill up their workforce by connecting them with mentors to grow their skills on a variety of topics.

“We are most excited about providing needed development resources to employers in our community to help them attract, retain, and develop talent,” said Kristin Craig, president of the Terre Haute Chamber. “We are also excited to play an active role in connecting students to businesses and retaining talent in our state. It’s a win-win in connecting companies to the talent they need.”

The two chambers say the program aligns with their mission to help employers throughout the state skill up their workforce and provide access to critical mentoring relationships.
