WESTFIELD, Ind. (Inside INdiana Business) — The city of Westfield is included in Money.com’s 2020 list of “The Best Places to Live in America.” The ranking was determined by analyzing a variety of criteria, including employment opportunities, cost of living and diversity.

Westfield is ranked No. 6 on the list and is the only Indiana city to be included. The website says the city’s population has grown 45% over the last 10 years, which it says can be attributed to many reasons, including a strong school system.

“Westfield High ranks as the fourth-best high school in the Indianapolis area and the ninth-best in the entire state, with a 97% graduation rate,” the website said. “Westfield High has particularly excelled in science and technology and was named a Distinguished School by Project Lead the Way, a STEM-focused non-profit, in 2020.”

Money also measured housing, health and safety, education, weather, lifestyle and amenities – both for safety and entertainment – in determining its ranking.

The top five cities on the list include Evans, Georgia; Parker, Colorado; Meridian, Idaho; Rockwall, Texas; and Columbia, Maryland.
