24-year-old missing from Zionsville found dead in Indianapolis; foul play not suspected

CARMEL, IN – On Thursday November 3, 24-year-old Bernard Caillouet, of Carmel, IN, was reported to the Carmel Police Department as a missing person. He was reported to have walked away from his residence on the evening of October 29. On Friday November 4, the investigation revealed Mr. Caillouet was believed to be endangered and in need of medical treatment, so a Silver Alert was issued.

“On Monday, December 12, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department received a report of a body found in the 1900 block of Bluff Road in Indianapolis. The Marion County Coroner’s Office took possession of the body and, through their investigation, were able to identify the deceased as Mr. Bernard Caillouet.

“The investigation into the cause of death of Mr. Caillouet is being conducted by the Marion County Coroner’s Office, however foul play is not suspected. Any questions regarding the cause of death of Mr. Caillouet should be directed to the Marion County Coroner’s Office at 317-327-4744. ZIONSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — A Sliver Alert has been issued for a 24-year-old man missing from Zionsville. He’s believed to be in extreme danger and may need medical assistance.

Police say Bernard Caillouet is 5 feet and 11 inches tall. He’s 160 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. Investigators say he was last seen Saturday around 7 p.m. wearing glasses, a gray zip-up jacket, black pants, and brown ankle high boots.

Caillouet is missing from Zionsville which is about 16 miles northwest of downtown Indianapolis.
