Boone County Sheriff’s Office preparing for upcoming changes

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Major changes will be taking place for the Boone County Sheriff’s Office this year.

The Boone County Commissioners are clearing the way for the jail expansion of the Justice Center, which will affect the daily operations of the Boone County Sheriff’s Office.

The commissioners expect most of the administrative divisions to be housed at the Boone County 4-H Fairgrounds by April 3. The administration, corrections, and investigations divisions will all be affected by this move.
