Indiana State Museum to host family-friendly New Year’s Eve event

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indiana State Museum will host a family-friendly event to wrap up its holiday season and kick off a new year.

Family New Year’s Eve is a mid-evening countdown and colorful balloon drop that will take place at the museum on Sunday between 6 – 8:30 p.m.

Some of the activities that will be available include face painting, music, dancing, photo ops, and a balloon drop in the Great Hall.

Admission is $18/person (ages 3 and older) with a 25% discount for members and $8 for Access Pass members. Family New Year’s Eve is free for children younger than age 3.

Tickets are also available on a first-come, first-served basis for visitors to enjoy rides on the popular Snowfall Express train.
