People come to Delphi church to remember murdered girls
DELPHI, Ind. (WISH) — As a killer remains free, a community came together for truth, justice and giving.
People from all over met at Delphi United Methodist Church on Wednesday night in remembrance of two girls.
Fourteen-year-old Liberty German and 13-year-old Abigail Williams vanished on Feb. 13, 2017, while hiking near their hometown of Delphi, about 60 miles (95 kilometers) northwest of Indianapolis. Their bodies were found the next day.

People came to the church to pray with one another, talk about Abby and Libby and even give back, donating food items for a pantry.
Inside the sanctuary, people found candles and pictures of Abby and Libby. There was no scheduled program planned; those inside simply said prayers, reflected or just had fellowship with others.
Two years ago, the doors of the church were open when the shocking discovery was made. About 700 people showed up.
During the one-year anniversary marking the girls’ murder, the church opened the doors again.
Julian Grace will have a report from the church on News 8 at 10 and 11.
