INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — DuJuan McCoy, owner, president, and CEO of Circle City Broadcasting, and Drew Sumrall, CEO of Family Broadcasting, announced a multi-year agreement to broadcast WISH-TV’s News 8 live in the South Bend, Indiana market (Nielsen DMA 99).

“WHME TV 46 will air more than 60 hours of live News 8 broadcasts each week beginning April 6, 2020,” said McCoy. “We are proud to make WISH-TV Indiana’s only single-source, statewide news network and bring the quality news broadcasts that Central Indiana knows and loves to viewers in the South Bend area.”

“We’re very excited to partner with WISH-TV and deliver this legacy news programming to our viewers,” added Sumrall. “DuJuan and his team have done an excellent job fine tuning their product, it is first class. Live original news content is premium programming and we are fortunate to be the News 8 affiliate for the South Bend DMA.”

McCoy, a native of Indianapolis and graduate of Butler University, calls the agreement, “The beginning of my goal to bring the quality and legacy of WISH-TV news from the capital city of Indianapolis to all television markets in the state of Indiana, and to the estimated 1.2 million Hoosiers that currently receive their local news from non-Indiana television stations, including the Gary region (Chicago DMA), and 15 counties in Southern Indiana (Cincinnati and Louisville DMAs).”
