Local scouts grill out on the circle

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Local scouts prepared for the start of summer the way they have for the past 24 years.

Scouts from around the area held their annual cookout on the circle.

Brats, chicken, and tons of other food were on the menu.

24-Hour News 8’s Scott Sander stopped by to lend the scouts a helping hand.

The money raised goes to send scout members to summer camp.

The annual event raises around 25 thousand dollars each year.

For their hard work, each scout member receive almost $150 dollars to help fund their way to camp.
