Man killed in single-vehicle Bartholomew County crash

COLUMBUS, Ind. (WISH) – One person was killed in a single-vehicle Bartholomew County crash Thursday evening.

According to the Indiana State Police, the crash happened in the area of County Road 250 East and County Road 275 South around 8 p.m.

Police say a 2006 Mazda, driven by 18-year-old Kyle Hall, was traveling north on County Road 250 East, when, for unknown reasons, the vehicle left the roadway on the east side.

The vehicle then proceeded to roll a number of times before coming to a stop.

Hall was transported to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The passenger, 18-year-old Lilly Hall, was ejected from the vehicle. She was transported to an Indianapolis hospital for treatment of her serious injuries.
