(WISH) — Tennessee authorities think they have found the remains of missing 15-month-old Evelyn Boswell.

Investigators discovered human remains while searching a property belonging to an unidentified family member of her mother.

The toddler was officially reported missing Feb. 18, but she had not been seen since Dec. 26.

Her mother was arrested Tuesday for giving false information about her daughter’s whereabouts. She told officials she lied to protect her mother, 42-year-old Angela Boswell. She was arrested last month and charged with stealing a car with her boyfriend.

The car was connected to the Amber Alert issued in the child’s disappearance.

The discovered remains have been sent to a lab for identification.
