Police identify woman who walked in front of truck
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The coroner was called to Interstate 465 Monday morning after witnesses say a woman walked in front of a dump truck.
The incident happened just after 10 a.m. in the westbound lanes of I-465 between Meridian Street and Keystone Avenue on the north side.
The victim, pronounced dead on the scene, was identified as 24-year-old Emily Meyers of Carmel.
Westbound traffic was restricted, causing backups on the north side.
