Police: Noblesville homeowner wrestles gun from burglar
NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — A Noblesville man turned the tables on a would-be robber.
Police say the man came home to find someone inside his vehicle, which was parked in the garage.
The suspect was later identified as 19-year-old Peyton Tonning.
Police say Tonning pulled out a gun and then ran off.
The homeowner chased after him and wrestled the gun away.
Police say Tonning then took off again and the homeowner fired Tonning’s gun at him.
Tonning was later arrested by police. He was uninjured.
