Remnants of Florence impacting Indiana with building heat mid week
Warm summer day Saturday with highs topping out just shy of 90° with more summer heat for today! Expect to see highs in the mid 80s with mainly sunny skies.Clouds will thicken up this afternoon in SE Indiana with an isolated shower possible during the later half of the day. Temperatures should cool off to the upper 60s.
A few isolated showers are possible for for the morning commute with a better chance of showers during the later half of the day with highs in the lower 80s. Florence is not expected to give us much rain, in fact rain accumulation looks to stay under a a quarter of an inch. Once the rain and clouds move eastward temperatures really begin to warm up Tuesday. Highs are to rebound ot the mid to upper 80s and will stay there through Thursday afternoon.
Next weather maker moves in late Thursday with rain shower spreading in during the later half of the day. Once th e cold front passes that’ll knock the temperatures down to the lower 80s with showers and storms sticking around for much of the day on Friday. For now the Friday night football looks to be a soggy one. This weekend we welcome in Fall officially at 9:54 pm with soggy and cooler conditions. High temperatures will slip to the mid 70s with scattered showers. Showers will continue for Sunday with highs continuing to cool to the lower 70s.
