Scattered snow Saturday; Heavy rain possible Sunday
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Our active weather pattern continues this weekend with light snow through today. A mix of rain and snow changes to steady rain Sunday afternoon.
Today:
Quick moving upper-level system has pushed out steady snow showers across the area this morning. Expect the steady snow to move out well before midday, with just scattered snow showers for the rest of the afternoon.
Highs top out in the lower 30s Saturday.
Tonight:
Mostly cloudy and quiet overnight. Lows fall to the middle 20s.
Sunday:
Cloudy conditions to start off the day. The potent system works in from the west. We may be cold enough by late morning/early afternoon to begin as snow showers, before warmer air moves in changing everything over to rain for the rest of the day.
Highs top out around 40°
8-day forecast:
Showers continue heading into Monday morning. Milder temperatures (for this time of year) should hang around for most of the workweek. The next best chances for precipitation come in the form of a wintry mix both Wednesday and Thursday and a quick shot of colder air moving in on Friday.
