Showers Saturday night, strong winds Sunday

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A few spotty showers will be possible Saturday night with an isolated thunderstorm. Temperatures will slowly rise into the 50s later Saturday night. 

Winds pick up overnight. A High Wind Warning is in effect for areas along and north of Interstate 70 while a Wind Advisory is in effect for southern Indiana from 4 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday. 

Sustained winds will be near 20-40 mph while gusts may approach 50 mph. 

Skies stay mostly cloudy Sunday with a scattered shower possible in the morning. 

Highs will be earlier in the day with temperatures falling back into the 30s by the late afternoon. 

It will be cold and breezy Sunday night with lows falling into the teens. Monday we’ll see some sunshine but with highs near freezing and breezy conditions it will feel a bit chilly. 

Clouds return Tuesday with highs in the 30s. Showers will be possible late Wedneday and early Thursday. Temperatures stay below normal for most of next week.
