Soggy start to the morning with more rain Thursday

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A very soggy start to the morning with a few thunderstorms possible this morning. Rain will continue through the morning and early afternoon. Highs Wednesday expected to warm to the mid 50s. A break from the rain is expected Wednesday afternoon and evening with a second system approaching bringing more rain late this evening and through the overnight. Lows Wednesday night will hold steady in the lower 50s through the overnight. A Flood Watch will start late this evening through the evening on Thursday.

Indianapolis (WISH) 

More rain to start the morning hours of Thursday with rain scattered about. Temperatures will warm to the upper 50s with a few spots in the lower 60s. A marginal risk of strong to severe thunderstorms are possible Thursday. The main threat will be flooding especially south of I-70. Rain will continue through the afternoon with showers tapering off late Thursday evening. Rain accumulation looks to be 1”-3” inches by the end of the evening Thursday.

A cold front will swing in overnight cooling Friday highs to the upper 20s with mainly sunny skies. Winds will also be a bit windy out of the NW at 20-30 mph.

This upcoming weekend looks quiet and cold with highs in the lower 30s Saturday and mid 30s Sunday with a chance of a mix by late Sunday. Next week there will be a few flurries to start off the week with highs in the mid 40s. A better chance of light snow late Tuesday through Wednesday with highs cooling to the mid 30s
