Upcoming event about continuing Dr. MLK’s work, legacy

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – With Monday being Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, it’s also an opportunity to realize the urgency of continuing his efforts to pursue eqality and social justice.

A community conversation happening on Tuesday is an excellent place to start.

That event is called “Racism, Trauma and Healing.”

Rev. Monique Crain and Matthias Beier from the Christian Theological Seminary stopped by Midday to discuss the event.

The discussion will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 22 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Christian Theological Seminary’s Shelton Auditorum.
