Winning Mega Millions ticket sold in Wayne County
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The search is on for the winner of the $540 million Mega Millions jackpot in Wayne County.
Mega Millions tweeted overnight that the only winning ticket was sold in the Hoosier State.
According to an official with the Hoosier Lottery, the winning ticket was purchased at a Speedway convenience store at the I-70 Cambridge City exit.
There is no information available on the winner, whether it is one person or was part of a pool of others.
So far no on word on the winner coming forward to claim the prize.
It’s the seventh largest lottery jackpot ever in the United States.
The winning numbers are 8, 19, 20, 55 and 73 with the Mega Ball being 5.
