Winter Storm Stays South

Cloudy skies and cool temps today in central Indiana. Highs will make it into the upper 20s. Winds will be breezy to windy at times with gusts to 25 mph. A massive winter storm will stay to our south but southern areas of Indiana will see snow. Accumulations of 1-3″ can be expected. A Winter Weather Advisory is posted for Jasper county through 7AM Saturday morning. Any travel plans to this area will be slow as snow, some ice and gusty winds could slow or halt travel plans. This same storm system will dump up to 2 feet of snow (or more locally) in the Washington DC area.
