Witnesses: Shooting victim, suspect in argument before shooting
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Police say a man was fatally shot Thursday a little before 4:30 a.m. at an Indianapolis home.
IMPD said the victim was dead when they arrived on scene at East 9th Street and North Denny Street.
Police said several witnesses who saw parts or most of what happened said there was some type of an argument between the victim and another person. They said as many as four to six shots were fired.
The victim is described as a white male in his early to mid 20s. Police didn’t have the identity of the victim, so they are unsure if he lives near the area. Police said a finger print scanner could determine who the victim is.
No suspect description has been released.
