INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, a woman has been taken into custody in connection to a shooting on the west side that left one person in serious condition.
Police say 34-year-old Chasity Combs was arrested following a Dec. 2 afternoon shooting.
On Saturday, Dec. 2, just before 3:30 p.m., officers were called to the 3100 block of West 9th Street for a person shot run.
After arriving on scene, officers say they learned that Combs and her wife had gotten into an argument. Combs then reportedly told her wife that if she left, she would kill her.
Combs then shot her wife, who was transported to the hospital in serious condition.
Combs faces several preliminary charges including aggravated battery, domestic battery and battery with injury.
