Colts lose to Jaguars 30-27

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A sloppy first half was too much for the Colts to overcome on Sunday, as they fell to the Jacksonville Jaguars 30-27.

Andrew Luck only passed for 47 yards in the first half, but had numerous passes dropped from his receiving unit.

The Colts have also committed a bevy of penalties, assisting the Jaguars on drives.

A key play in the game came during the final minutes with the Colts choosing to keep Frank Gore off the field on 4th down, instead choosing to pass. That play ended up being an incompletion, essentially sealing the win for Jacksonville.

The Colts are now 1-3 on the season and will look to get things turned around next week against the Chicago Bears.Previous:

The Colts are coming off of a 26-22 victory against the San Diego Chargers while the Jaguars lost last week to the Baltimore Ravens by a score of 19-17.

This will be the first divisional game of the season for either team, upping the ante more from just a nationally televised game.

Look for Andrew Luck to try to utilize Frank Gore on the ground so he can open up some passing plays against an expensive Jacksonville defense.

The once surging Blake Bortles of Jacksonville has taken a step back with his play so far this year, as he’s thrown one more interception than touchdown.
