Active weather pattern to continue into the weekend
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We wrapped up the work week on a damp and breezy note across the region. Rain and storm chances will continue through the weekend.
Friday night:
We will have isolated showers possible tonight with clouds partially clearing out.
Lows will hold steady in the low 60s overnight in what will be a mild night.
Saturday:
We will continue to track showers and storm chances for your Saturday afternoon and evening. As rain chances continue to ramp up during the day, flooding will become a concern.
Highs will climb into the upper 70s for what will be a warm day.
Sunday:
Keep the rain gear handy as shower and storm chances will continue through your Sunday. We have the chance to see an isolated strong to severe storm or two as there is a Marginal Risk for all of Indiana for isolated damaging winds and hail. Flooding will continue to be a concern across central Indiana.
Highs will top out in the mid 70s.
8 Day Forecast:
A few light showers may linger into your Monday morning, which will lead to a cooler afternoon with high temperatures only reaching the mid 60s. Spotty showers are possible for Tuesday and Wednesday. If you love the warmer weather, you are in luck as we will get to enjoy a nice gradual warming trend through next week. High temperatures will be near 80° to end the work week.
