Strong Storms Northern Indiana. Isolated Showers Central Indiana
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A Tornado Watch is in effect for Northern Indiana until 8:00 PM tonight. The area of concern is North of a line from Lafayette to Logansport. There have been Tornado Warnings for Lake County, St, Joseph County, Porter County, Newton County, Jasper County and Benton County this afternoon. No severe weather is expected in Central Indiana. Our weather pattern does not change much until Friday when some cooler drier air starts to move in.
Tonight – Possible Severe Weather in Northern Indiana. Central Indiana stays mostly dry and steamy. An isolated showers is possible after 2:00 AM. Low 73.
Sunday – Mostly dry with isolated showers possible in the afternoon. Otherwise, hot and humid with a high near 90.
Monday – Dry, mostly sunny and still hot and humid. High near 90.
Tuesday – Increasing clouds and an increasing chance for showers and thunderstorms. High 86
Wednesday – Not all day, but showers and thunderstorms are likely. High 85.
Latest in a series of strong storms will be moving through Northern Indiana this evening.
By midnight, the storms are getting weaker and more isolated.
the hot humid air is still in place over Central Indiana Sunday so scattered afternoon showers are possible again.
