INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – After 30 years, Indiana native David Letterman will be leaving the Late Show.

As a tribute to his departure, Adam Sandler guest starred on the show, singing a sweet but funny song to Letterman.

“He’s leaving after 30 years, and you know he will be missed. If you like gap-toothed men in double breasted suits, he’s number one on your top ten list.”

Letterman’s last show is May 20.

Stephen Colbert’s version of the Late Show is set to debut Sept. 8.
