6 family members injured in I-65 wreck
LOWELL, Ind. (WLFI) – Six family members are in several hospitals in northern Indiana and Illinois after being injured in a wreck on I-65.
Indiana State Police said the Rodriguez-Conejo family was driving back from Indiana Beach Sunday afternoon when a tire blew off their pick-up truck. It happened around noon Sunday three miles north of the Lowell exit on northbound I-65.
Police said the truck rolled down an embankment and came to a stop on the passenger side.
The family members ranging in age from 34 to 4 years old were all taken to different hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
