The Franklin Police Department said the incident happened Thursday afternoon.
They arrested and charged the girl’s father, 20-year-old Christopher Potts, with battery resulting in death.
He is currently in the Johnson County Jail with bond set at $30,000.00.
Felicity’s grandmother, Danielle Anderson, said investigators told her Potts tried to give the child CPR and a bottle after throwing her against the wall.
“He couldn’t handle her crying during nap time. That’s why he hurt her,” said Felicity’s grandmother, Danielle Anderson.
Felicity’s mother, 18-year-old Annabelle Anderson, declined to comment.
