Developer presents new proposal for Avon’s Satori Pointe property

AVON, Ind. (WISH) — The Avon Town Council will once again consider an apartment complex at Satori Pointe.

In April, the council voted to reject the amendment needed to build a 270-apartment complex at the location. Many residents were concerned because the proposal did not include any retail space in accordance with the original plan set forth by the town years ago.

Carmel-based CRG Residential is the developer hoping to build in Avon. A new rendering to coincide with the new proposal still includes a large apartment complex including 10 buildings, along with a proposed bank, grocer and two retail spaces.

The planning commission will have a hearing on the new proposal on July 25th.

Satori Pointe is part of the Hendricks Regional Health YMCA property, which is part of a TIF district.
