3 arrested after search warrant turns up drugs, money

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) –  An executed search warranted resulted in the arrests of three men.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, narcotics detectives carried out a search warrant Wednesday afternoon and were able to determine drugs were being sold out of the “Word of Mouf” barbershop.

During their search detectives discovered almost 700 grams of marijuana and more than $3,000 in cash. 31-year-old Dorian Benefield, 25-year-old Najee Jackson and Jonte Ford, 34, were all arrested.

All three men are facing a number of preliminary charges including possession of narcotics, maintaining a common nuisance and dealing narcotics.
