Colts fans celebrate win, prepare for next playoff game

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – It was clear Indianapolis bleeds blue after the Colts’ AFC Wild Card round 21-7 win over the Houston Texans.

Fans were screaming at the top of their lungs chanting “Let’s go Colts” throughout the game.

Hundreds of people were inside The Tap restaurant and bar near Massachusetts Avenue Saturday night, cheering on the horseshoe.

The Colts’ fan club. “The Blue Crew,” had a special area set up in the back of the bar.

People were even dressed up in costumes to support the team.

There were a few tense moments, but the Colts came through.

Colts fans said they have faith in Coach Frank Reich and are thrilled to move on to the next round of the playoffs.

“To be honest with you, I didn’t think we were going to get this far! But, Frank Reich apparently had a better plan for us and we turned it around and now here we are! 1 and 0,” said Colts fan Benjamin Curtis.

“I knew going in we were going to do it. But I did not know it was going to be such a great game! We have our Luck back. We have him back and it’s so exciting,” said Colts fan Cyndi Collins.

The Colts Blue Crew set up their blue fire truck outside The Tap.

After the win, fans took the celebration outside and hopped on the fire truck.

The Clue Crew told News 8 their support won’t stop after Saturday night.

They plan on hitting the road and taking the blue crew to Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City as the Colts play the Chiefs next Saturday.
